Our Story

Our story is about people from all different walks of life and backgrounds, coming together and becoming family through our shared love for God and His people. Our name, Veranderde Lewens, is more than just a name. It is a prophetic declaration that we will see lives transformed! Over the years, our church has become a place where broken people have found a home. We have seen so many people experience radical change and transformation and we are standing on the promise that God is still not done with us yet!

Presence of God

We place a high value on the presence of God.

¹⁵ And he said to him, “If your presence will not go with me, do not bring us up from here. ¹⁶ For how shall it be known that I have found favour in your sight, I and your people? Is it not in your going with us, so that we are distinct, I and your people, from every other people on the face of the earth?”

Honour

Honour is an integral biblical principle. At Veranderde Lewens, we strive to embody this value in all that we do and in how we treat others. People are made in the image of God and Jesus clearly states that the way that we treat others directly impacts our relationship with Him. Therefore, we aim to treat every individual with the respect and honour that they are due.

¹⁰ Be devoted to tenderly loving your fellow believers as members of one family.

Supernatural

We are trusting God to pour out His supernatural power in our midst! His spirit gives us the gifts and the ability to make a difference in the world around us and to do this we need the supernatural power of God.

⁴ and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, ⁵ so that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.

Excellence
